The public description follows the implemented extension and signaling service without promising a store release or performance SLA.
The browser prototype exchanges playback positions and play, pause, and seek commands. It corrects drift with rate changes or a seek, without a published latency guarantee.
The preview targets YouTube and YouTube Music, Spotify Web Player, and SoundCloud. Participants open the same supported media in their own browsers.
A host with TurtleTech identity access creates a room and shares its six-character room code. The room service tracks membership and room state.
The service relays room state and WebRTC signaling. It does not process, decode, or store audio; optional tab-audio relay flows directly between browser peers.
The first participant becomes leader. Playback commands and position updates flow to followers, and leadership can be transferred inside the room.
Cicada is in private preview. Access, the browser test build, and setup instructions are supplied directly for accepted demos.
The browser build is distributed directly to accepted demo participants. There is no public browser-store listing.

Availability
Cicada does not have a public installer, trial, checkout, or self-service subscription. Demo access is arranged directly so the supported browser path and account setup can be reviewed together.
Cicada preview access is separate from every other TurtleTech app. Ridley, OokCite, Antics, Babbler, and TurtleTech Data subscriptions do not grant Cicada access or contribute to its limits.
